He was my Uncle and he was always good to us. My brother Billy lived with them.
Life us really short in this world.

Hi Dennis, Thanks for your response. I remember Billie well. We were kids and had a great time here in Waukeenah.
The Andrews were like a second home for me. Great folks. Take care. If down our way, stop by. Karen Buzbee Walker

Well. well! Good times remembered in Capps and Waukeenah! I also have fond memories of Jefferson County Elementary and Jr. High! Varona(?) could really play the piano! Kennan could sing like a songbird. I see your last name is Walker. Which one of the walker’s did you marry? Jimmy? Charlie? another? I am retired from Education and am enjoying a wonderful wife and family, three daughters and sons in laws. four granddaughters and one grandson. We have four great-grands!

          HeyThere Mike,
Remember you fondly. Didn’t marry local Walker—Von was from Mayo. Thanks for the comment on mama and Kennon.
Glad things are great for you and hope continue. When I go thru Capps, all the houses and buildings are gone but in my mind, I still see them and remember those memories. Jefferson County has grown some but still small in population. We do have a big Medical Marijuana Plant here in Waukeenah. Employees 300.
If you get down our way, look us up!
          Take Care
