Wife of John O. Barton. Mother of Mary Poppell North. Sister to William Henry Thomson, Sr., Mable Thomson, & Nancy Ellen Meadows Thomson. She was the proud owner of a “Speckled Hen” named “Baby” . In later years, she and her sister Mable lived together in Waukeenah wiith their chickens. ” Babv” is buried in the Waukeenah Cemetery near her.
