Brother to Nell & Elizabeth Cooksey. Father of Jay, Theresa. and Christy. Raised in Waukeenah, FL. After his parents death he lived with Aunt Josie Thompson until he joined the Navy at an early age. When released, returned to Waukeenah. Owned and Operated a Garage until his retirement. Has unselfishly devoted time and energy for repairs to the WUMC and Cemetery. A dedicated worker! He and his second wife, Shirley, enjoy traveling and being with the grandchildren. Member of the WUMC.
