Son of John Proctor & Mattie Cooksey. Brother to Warren, Josie Lee, John, Florrie, Pearl, & Annie. Blind but could see a little at night. Called “Charlie”. Dug water wells by hand. Bachelor. Loved children and would always buy them ice cream when they met at the local store. Born and raised in Waukeenah, FL.
