Husband of Gladys Hornsby Cooksey. Son of Jim & Mina Cooksey. Brother to Buck who married Mary, Gladys’ sister. Farmer. Father to Robert, Buckshot, Gene, Franklin, & Paul.. Farmer who partnered with son Robert in later years. Would call for the square dances at the old Waukeenah School House while Verona Buzbee played.
