Obituary for Daily Inman Gramling, Jr.
Daily Inman Gramling Jr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning April 18th at 7:10 AM. As always, he started that journey early as he was always up early and going every day of his life. Buddy was the hardest working man that could ever be found. He loved building of many things. Starting building short track race car motors at age 12, with his own car and had a driver for it. His career was in the housing industry and was talented in every aspect from the foundation to the roof. He could do anything necessary until he became disabled. He was still a consultant when needed. He was an avid horse lover and bred Paint and Quarter horses and loved riding. He loved his Harleys and the many cars and trucks he restored. He most of all loved his family and he was more than an ordinary family member, he was hands on. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His main love was his boys who he taught everything so they could carry on his legacy.
Buddy was born to Daily Inman Gramling Sr. and Christine Crawford Gramling on May 22,1954 in Macon, Georgia. The family moved to Thomasville, Georgia when Buddy was very young and that is where he was raised. He graduated from Thomasville High School and followed up with some technical college in building. His parents as well as his sister, he loved so dearly, Dr. Dale Gramling Graham are deceased.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Debra Clampitt Gramling; grandson, Weston Clampitt of the home; son, Billy Wayne Clampitt, Sr.; daughter in law, Angel, grandson who was also like his son, Billy Wayne Clampitt Jr.; great grandchildren, Waylon Clampitt and Dayze Clampitt of Catawba, Terri and Michael Pope of Catawba; niece, Chrissy Mann (James); nephew Oby Graham (Christa) of Thomasville, Georgia.
Arrangements are pending but the service when ready will be at the Waukeenah Methodist Church Cemetery in Monticello, Florida. Immediate family only.
