Son of Sidney Groom & Ralph Simmons. Sibling of Brian, Bart, and Zoe. Father of BJ and Sumatha Simmons. Grandfather also. He was the oldest grandson of Ralph and Mildred Groom.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, but raised in Waukeenah. Worked in Nurseries and Lawn Care. Had a big heart! In his later years, was raising his grand kids.
