The first person buried in cemetery next to the old church which was then in middle of present cemetery. 3/17/1810-Born-7/10/1842-Died Husband of Maria Ulmer who donated 1 acre of land for cemetery. Grave for him was restored and new marker placed by the WUMC Cemetery Committee.
