Son of William Lafayette, Sr. & Virginia E. Murphy Wooten. Lived in home across from 2nd church and west of 3rd church. Home is gone (burned). Farmed, grew pecans and sold them. Owned a lot of farm land west of Waukeenah and called his place “Colonial Heights”. Sold pecans in Jacksonville and was called “The Pecan Man”. “Woodman of the World”
